Firefighter is a short animation that plays around with the word firefighters. It is not your traditional firefighters who stop fires but actual fire beings fighting each other.

Process
Moodboard
Before starting the animation, I decided to research some fighting poses and watch some UFC matches to understand better what the fight might look like in the animation.
Rough storyboard
After collecting my references, I started the rough storyboard. I had to think about two things in this animation: who the figure would move and how the fire would react to the people moving. So, I created two different storyboards for the people and the fire, then combined the two to help me set up the animation.
Animatic
The animatic is a helpful step into making the animation because it shows the general idea of the animation without going into detail with the characters. It also helps to visually see how the animation will turn out.
Final Storyboard
After making a few more adjustments in the design of the characters, I made the final storyboard that I would use in the animation.
